Golf Coaching . How to hit the ball further using less effort. The secret of where power comes from.

All golfers want extra distance. Thanks to scientific research you can add extra metres to your game almost immediately.

Here's how to do it:

The biggest myth in golf today is that power is generated from the big muscles. Golfers believe they first need to wind their body tight, and then secondly, rotate their body hard through the ball. This can be hard to do and unfortunately rarely works consistently.

Ultimately this type of instruction leads to a weak slice ball and a powerless ball flight... if you've struggled for distance and consistency this probably sounds familiar.

Scientific analysis has shown that the major power source in the golf swing is from the internal rotation of the humerus. This is your upper arm...so, if you want extra distance you need to keep your lower body stable while allowing your upper arms to fire quickly from the top of the swing.

All correct golf swings resemble a throwing motion...the harder you can 'throw' your arms, the further you will hit the ball. Your body will still move but only in response to your fast moving arms. The second you unwind your body too hard or too far it makes it difficult, if not impossible, to move your arms quickly and correctly. Your upper arms (in particular your right arm) should lead with your body a happy follower.

There is evidence everywhere that a stable body and fast arms are the key to an easier and more effective golf game. Consider this;

Have you ever played a shot with a short and restricted backswing (like from under a tree) and been surprised at how far the ball as gone? Or maybe you have taken a nice and easy swing and smashed the ball way past your normal efforts.

One golfer I know hit a 7 iron 170 metres from a fairway bunker (about 20 metres further than normal), he was so worried about slipping that he only swung at half pace with his feet buried in the sand...

... just the other day a golfer I was playing with was stuck in the trees. He made a short and easy swing, hoping to get the ball back into play. Unfortunately the ball sailed across the fairway (about 50 metres further than expected) and into more trouble.

These golf swings are close to the perfect swing and represent the scientific secrets to playing to your full potential. Until now, the mechanics to owning this swing have been incorrect or simply ignored.

If you'd like the code on how to achieve this effortless power learn to swing your arms and not your body.
